Trump’s Approval Surges to Highest Level Since March

According to the Decision Desk HQ average, Trump’s net approval has increased by 8.2 points since late April — reaching its highest level since March 10.

In many polls, Trump is now viewed far more favorably than he was during his first term, and he is also more popular than Bush and Obama were at this point in their second terms.
Some may think Trump’s approval rating doesn’t matter because he’s term-limited, but that would be a mistake.
How voters feel about Trump’s second term will play a major role in determining the outcome of the 2026 midterms. And even though he won’t be on the ballot, it will also help shape the 2028 presidential election.
So if you want Republicans to perform well in the next two national elections, you’d better hope Trump’s approval continues to rise and remain steady.
