Top Pollster Richard Baris Criticizes Legacy Media

Richard Baris, who has been the most accurate pollster in the US the past 10 years, had a message for the legacy media and their pollsters. Baris went to X this morning and posted this message.

“If you cannot poll an election accurately, then you cannot poll approval ratings, sentiment, or general views on issues correctly.

None of these legacy media pollsters have any credibility.

There are legit only about a handful of us who know how to poll the American Public.”

Baris was one of the few pollsters that still showed Trump winning the 2024 election in the aftermath of the Democrats replacing Joe Biden with Kamala Harris. He criticized pollsters who had Harris ahead for just picking up a response bias.

Baris’s point is important. You should ignore the media pollsters that have not showed the ability to poll the American public accurately.
