Poll Shows Trump Would Still Win 2024 Election Today

According to the latest poll from Emerson College, if the 2024 election were re-held today, Donald Trump would still win, leading Kamala Harris 48% to 47%.

Trump’s overall approval in the poll appears much more realistic compared to some other media polls, with his approval and disapproval both at 45%.

Emerson College has been one of the more accurate pollsters in past presidential elections. They correctly projected Trump winning enough states to secure the Electoral College, so the fact that they show him still winning if the election were re-held today is significant.

The approval numbers are also far more reasonable. There’s no way Trump‘s approval has slid to a net -20 approval, as some media polls have claimed. Public opinion doesn’t move that dramaticly in a span of a few months.

The fact that a historically accurate pollster has his approval around even is, again, very telling.

The Trump administration has been bombarded by negative media coverage, especially after Trump implemented his tariff policy. There seems to be a coordinated media effort to convince Trump supporters that his agenda is unpopular—perhaps even to influence public opinion enough to derail it altogether.

We need the accurate polls, such as Richard Baris’s Big Data Poll, Rasmussen, Emerson College, and a few others, of the 2024 election to continue giving data in approval ratings. It’s important that accurate data reaches the public—and hopefully, the White House as well.
