“Imagine Being an Atheist on Your Deathbed”: Tucker Carlson Rips Maher

In a recent interview with Jason Whitlock, Tucker Carlson did not hold back in his criticism of HBO host Bill Maher. While some on the right have started to warm up to Maher for occasionally criticizing the left, Carlson made it clear: he has no respect for the man.
“He’s one of the most unwise people in the media… I feel sorry for him. He’s almost 70 years old and has accrued no wisdom in his life,” Tucker said.
“So I don’t listen to a single word he says—ever.”
Carlson also took aim at Maher’s atheism and lifestyle, suggesting that his refusal to settle down and his pattern of dating much younger women may seem glamorous now—but won’t last.
“It’s all fun and games to date hot 22-year-olds,” Carlson said, “but then you get old or get sick, and you have no one to be with.”
“Imagine being an atheist on your deathbed.”
Many conservatives have grown fond of Maher’s willingness to call out the far left. He often mocks woke culture, defends free speech, and even criticizes Democrats for extreme policy positions. But The Right-Wing Populist believes that many on the right are giving him far too much credit.
Let’s not forget: Bill Maher was a vocal driver of the anti-Trump narrative in 2016. He repeatedly claimed that Donald Trump was an illegitimate president who colluded with Russia—a claim never substantiated by the Mueller Report. Despite the lack of evidence, Maher never retracted his accusations.
Yet now, he has the nerve to lecture Republicans for questioning the legitimacy of the 2020 election.
This is pure hypocrisy.
Yes, Maher occasionally says things that make sense. And sure, it’s nice to see someone on the left break ranks once in a while. But that doesn’t mean he deserves praise or a platform from conservatives. His worldview is still rooted in atheism, liberal elitism, and a disdain for traditional values.
We don’t need Bill Maher to validate our views. And we certainly don’t need to start celebrating someone who has spent most of his career attacking everything we stand for.
