Baris Poll Blows Up Media Narrative on Trump

It’s official: the major media polls have been lying to us about Trump’s approval rating.
The latest polling results from the most accurate pollster in the country, Richard Baris, prove it.

In a recent BIG DATA POLL conducted by Baris, Trump’s job approval remains in net-positive territory—with 48% approving of his job performance and 47.4% disapproving. That is decline from several months ago in this same poll, but Baris had an understandable explanation for it.
“This dramatic of a decline is not entirely surprisingly given our last quarterly survey measured President Trump during the honeymoon phase of his second term,” BIG DATA POLL Director Rich Baris, said. “But all honeymoons come to an end, and it’s safe to say this one has, as well.”
“Party loyalty has a habit of regaining strength and concerns replace optimism.”
Interestingly, Trump’s personal favorability rating is even higher than his job approval, with 51.3% of respondents saying they had a favorable view of Donald Trump and 46.3% viewing him unfavorably.
Baris had this to say about the divide between Trump’s approval rating and his favorability:
“While that does suggest a potential for his approval rating to improve, something is clearly driving this divide,” Mr. Baris explained. “Given the decline in the percentage who cited a positive view of current conditions in our Economic Confidence Index, it’s not unreasonable to start there.
However, if these economic concerns turn out to be unjustified, we should all expect the president’s numbers to rebound—perhaps sharply.”
These results are striking, especially after the flood of mainstream media polls showing Trump underwater by double digits.
After this poll, it’s clear that the media polls have been misleading us. During his episode of “What Are the Odds?” with Robert Barnes, Baris called out the media pollsters for lying about Trump and running a recycled 2017 playbook.
Hopefully, the White House is paying attention to the accurate pollsters—and tuning out the noise from the big media outlets that clearly despise the president.
